Beaver, wild mink, red fox, and quality bobcats showed strength during the 2026 auction season. Muskrat remains inexpensive. Raccoon and coyote continue to lag behind the stronger species. The number offered matters. For example, 100% clearance on 35,658 beaver, 70,776 muskrats, and 11,794 wild mink represents substantial auction volume, not a small sample. These are auction results, not guaranteed Kansas buyer prices. Grade, size, section, primeness, handling, damage, commissions, shipping costs, and method of sale can substantially affect what an individual trapper receives. For species showing less than 100% sold, HZA reports the quantity offered and FHA’s published clearance percentage rather than estimating an exact number sold from a rounded percentage. HZA will continue adding current buyer information and new auction results here as they become available. If you have a current fur-buyer price, auction result, or market observation from your area, add it below with the date and location. The Hide Man Trade It Fair.
